  • Are there maintenance costs associated with installing water treatment equipment?  Absolutely, it is an on-going investment.  Fortunately, most of it can be DIY.  Filter cartridges should be replaced at the very least once a year depending on function and application.  Brine tanks will have to be re-filled.  It is highly recommended to follow all maintenance instructions and schedules to ensure maximum performance, long life, and minimize chances of bacterial buildup and clogging of water filter cartridges and ports.
